Sur 51 joueurs francais, aucun n’a malheureusement pu atteindre une table finale. Après “Sacre” et “Bollpoker” à Londres et “Forceps” à Varsovie, Unibet France n’aura pas eu la joie de vivre une nouvelle TF…Prochaine étape la Bulgarie (juin).

L’Unibet open de Budapest a livré son vainqueur : Anthon-Pieter Wink qui a dominé Peder Skaj lors d’un heads-up spectaculaire. Les deux adversaires possédaient des tapis similaires lorsque la main décisive s’est jouée.

Après près de dix heures de luttes intenses, deux joueurs avaient gagné le droit de se disputer le titre : Peder Skaj et Pieter-Anthon Wink. D’abord indécis, le duel devait progressivement tourner à l’avantage du Néerlandais qui repart de Budapest avec pas moins de 172 500€.

Simon Johansson wins Unibet Open Warsaw!!!

Full house brings the title home! Simon pushed all-in Pre-flop with K8 and Christoffer calls with AT, flop comes K25, giving him the pair, the railbirds start clapping and cheering. Turn brings an 8 and even more cheering, and to finish the whole thing off, another King comes down on the river. Simon takes home roughly €119,000.

Simon is very happy with his performance, even though he had a fever during the first hours of Day 1, he played a very solid game throughout the tournament, always staying above average stack size. This is his biggest tournament win this far, but we will most likely see more of him in the future.

Christoffer has once again doubled up and the chip stacks are now very close, Simon is at roughly 1,500,000 and Christoffer at around 1,300,000.

Another elimination for Simon

Simon is on a roll, he just eliminated Yuriy Leskiv to make it an all Swedish heads-up. The Ukrainian went all in with K5 off as the SB, Simon calls with A9, the board shows nothing. Christoffer has in the meantime doubled up twice against Simon, evening out the odds quite a bit.

Simon eliminates Teemu

Simon goes all-in with KT, Teemu pushes all-in with about 500k, holding A8, turn brings a ten and Teemu is the last finish player to leave the tournament. We are now down to the “Heads-up bubble”, Simon has a huge chiplead at this point.

Reigning Swedish Online Champion Roger Joffs was just kicked out of the tournament. He pushed his 86k stack all in with A8 of spades and gets called by Simon who’s holding JT, the jack comes down on the turn and we are left with two Swedes, one Finn and one Ukranian.
